Shipping and Payment

Free shipping above USD 5,000, fully insured worldwide with the carriers the trade uses. Payment by bank transfer, shipped within three to four working days of cleared funds.

Shipping, payment and returns

Shipping is free on orders above USD 5,000 and USD 250 below that. We ship worldwide with Malca-Amit, Brink's and Ferrari, and with FedEx, DHL and UPS — fully secured and fully insured in transit. Payment is by bank transfer against an invoice, and your parcel leaves within three to four working days of the funds reaching our account.

Can you set a stone into a ring or a piece of jewelry?

Yes, on request. If you find a stone here that you want set rather than loose, tell us before you confirm the order and we will quote the setting alongside it.

Send a design you like — a sketch, a photograph, a link, anything that shows what you have in mind — or simply tell us the occasion and let our team suggest settings that suit that particular stone. Some outlines and colors carry a design far better than others, and it is worth an honest conversation before anything is made. You approve the design before we start, and what ships is the finished piece rather than the loose stone.

How do I pay?

Once the order is confirmed we send an invoice to your registered email address, and you transfer the full amount by bank transfer to our account. International transfers generally take two to three working days to reflect in our account.

When is a stone actually mine?

All stones remain subject to availability until payment reaches our bank account. Until then the same stone is still offered to the trade and can be sold to another buyer. That is not a pressure tactic — it is the honest position, and we would rather say it than promise you something we cannot hold. Your order is confirmed the moment the funds land with us.

What does shipping cost?

Free on orders above USD 5,000. Below that, USD 250. The threshold is on the value of the order rather than the individual stone, so several stones bought together are counted as one order — and because prices here are given on enquiry, we tell you which side of the threshold you are on when we quote, before you commit to anything.

Who do you ship with?

The specialist carriers the diamond trade uses — Malca-Amit, Brink's and Ferrari — and, where they serve the route better, FedEx, DHL and UPS. Every parcel is fully secured and fully insured for its full value from our counter to yours, wherever in the world that is.

Who pays customs and import duty?

The consignee. Customs duty, import duty, clearance charges, agent fees and any other import-related service charge levied in the receiving country are the buyer's responsibility, not ours. These vary by country and by the value of the goods, and we are not in a position to quote them for you — so we would rather state it plainly here than have it reach you as a surprise at the door. Your local broker or the carrier can tell you what to expect before you order.

How quickly do you ship?

Within three to four working days of your payment reaching our account. You then receive the tracking link and every document relating to the shipment, so you can follow the parcel the whole way.

What about returns and refunds?

We do not take returns or refunds, and we work hard so that you never want one.

Before anything ships you see the stone in full: photographs on neutral ground under controlled, even light, video, and a live video call if you want one. Ask to see it under different lighting, from another angle, or beside something for scale, and we will shoot it again and tell you honestly what we see with our own eye. We would rather lose a sale at that stage than send a stone that is not what you pictured.

We describe a stone as it is, never better than it is. What arrives is what you agreed to buy — which is what makes a no-returns policy fair rather than convenient. If anything is unclear, ask before you confirm: that is the point at which we can still answer it.

Common questions

Is the shipping threshold based on the order or the stone?

The order. Several stones bought together count as one order value, so buying two stones can put you above USD 5,000 even if neither reaches it alone.

Is my parcel insured?

Yes, fully, for its full value and for the whole journey. Insurance is included rather than offered as an extra.

Do you ship to my country?

We ship worldwide. Between the specialist carriers and the international couriers we work with, we have not yet met a destination we could not reach — tell us where you are and we will confirm the route and the carrier.

Can I pay by card or through an escrow service?

Payment is by bank transfer against our invoice. For a first order with a new client we are happy to talk through whatever gives you confidence — ask us.

Can I have a stone from the shop set into jewelry?

Yes. Send us a design reference or let our team suggest settings for that stone, and we ship the finished piece. Ask before confirming the order so the setting is quoted with it.

What if the stone is not as described when it arrives?

Tell us immediately. It is precisely because we show you the stone so thoroughly beforehand that this should not happen — but if we have described something wrongly, that is our error and we will put it right.

Still have a question?

Ask before you commit — about the stone, the route, the duty, or anything else. We would rather answer it now than have it become a problem later.
