What it is
PASAVAJA sources and cuts diamonds in shapes most dealers do not carry — hexagons, kites, movals, shields, portrait cuts and bespoke outlines. If a shape can be cut, we can supply it, either from our network or by cutting rough to your specification.
Which shapes can be commissioned?
Any shape a cutter can execute. In practice that covers the recognized fancy cuts — hexagon, kite, moval, shield, portrait — as well as outlines drawn specifically for a single commission.
How long does a custom cut take?
Sourcing an existing stone usually takes days. Cutting from rough depends on size and complexity, and typically runs from three to eight weeks.
Is a custom cut more expensive?
Not necessarily. Non-standard shapes often retain more of the rough, which can offset the cutting premium. We quote per commission so the trade-off is visible before you commit.

Can you cut to a drawing?
Yes. Send dimensions or a drawing and we will advise what is achievable in the rough available.
Will the stone be certified?
Yes — GIA, IGI or HRD as you prefer, on any stone where certification is meaningful.
What is the minimum size?
There is no fixed minimum, though below roughly 0.30 ct the cutting premium becomes proportionally larger.
